4. How do I start collecting online payments with DSBC Online Payment Gateway? (Full instruction)

STEP1: Complete Your DSBC Corporate Account

To use our Payment Gateway system, you need to have a DSBC Corporate Account. Initially, you need to register with the company manager as a private individual. This is required to enable customer identification and to open a company account.

All Corporate accounts have an IBAN and can be used just like any bank account. Received payments also will be deposited to this account. More info about completing your corporate account can be found here.

STEP2: Project Creation And Technical Integration

Project Creation

  • DSBC needs to know the key information about your website (online store). Make sure you enter the right data for fast approval of the project.
  • After you log in to your DSBC corporate account, choose the service “Online payment collection via e-banking and other systems” and click Order. In the new window, confirm the login to the service. In the left-hand menu, press Manage projects. If this section is not visible, reload the page. To create a new project, click Add a new project. Fill in all the required information and click Save Project.
  • Then, you can integrate your billing system into your website using plugins or API (recommended with PHP library). 

Integration via plugin (module)

  • Download plugin (module) for your Content Management System (CMS).
  • Set up plugins according to instructions in the README file
  • In the plugin settings, specify the Project ID and Project Password (Sign password) specified in the Project Management section of the General project settings.
  • In the HTML code header for your website, insert meta-code meta name="verify-dsbc" content="..." and press the Check button, confirming the ownership of the website
  • To make test payments, check the Settings of the payment collection service in the Manage projects section. Allow test payments checkbox has to be set. Also the option in the module page of your website.

API integration

  • Pay attention to all the required parameters.
  • Parametrs 'project_id' (Project ID) and 'sign_password' (Project password) are listed under Project Management under General project settings.
  • In the HTML code header for your website, insert meta-code meta name="verify-dsbc" content="..." and press the Check button, confirming the ownership of the website.
  • To make test payments, check the Settings of the payment collection service in the Manage projects section. Allow test payments checkbox has to be set. Also the option in the module page of your website. In the data array, specify 'test' => 1,

STEP3: Project submission

The project must be submitted for review only when the technical integration of the settlement system has been carried out. Test payments can also be made if the project has not yet been approved.

  1. Before submitting the project, make sure that the project description contains all the necessary information (name, description, delivery and return policy) in the project settings.
  2. The project description should be in all available languages on your website. You can add description in a new language by clicking on Add a description in another language.
  3. Make sure your website has the following information:
    - Legal details of the company – Name, reg. Number, address, telephone, e-mail. It is desirable to indicate this information in the footer of each page.
    - General terms, delivery terms, return policy (distance contract) and privacy policy (disclaimer). It is desirable to link to these rules in the footer of each page.
  4. Submit the project.
  5. Once the project is approved, you will receive an email notification. If the project is not approved, you will be informed with e-mail containing all necessary improvements. Submit the project after updating the missing data again by clicking on the button Save comments and submit for review.

Payment cards can only be activated after the approval of the project and they must be activated individually.

5. Will I have multiple accounts for multiple currencies or will I have a multi-currency account?

Well, right now we only offer multiple accounts for multiple currencies. Whether it’s personal or corporational, your DSBC account is an EUR account by default. To open a Foreign Currency Account, you only have to make a simple request as instructed above.
